Nestled in the towns market place, Behind a stylish front John Taylor and his team run a busy shop serving both locals from Selkirk and other border towns.
John the Jedburgh Callant in 1994 took over this shop on the 5th September 2018 he has relished in this opportunity since with his business growing daily and picking up a multitude of awards along the way. John started out at the Co-Ops Jed fleshing in 1989 at 15 where he gained valuable experience and enthusiasm for the meat trade. John went on to work in booker of Galashiels, Angus Macey in Melrose and Wylies in Kelso.
John Supplies a growing range of products from scotch pies, Pies, Ready Meals, condiments and an endless list of cuts of meat from steak to poultry he even stocks desserts.
The shop opens 7:30am - 5:00pm six days per week giving the best customer experience provided by staff Fiona, Harry and Simon along with his son Ryan helping out at weekends.
